Prof. Philliph Mutisya of the Diaspora University Town (DUT) project and the Founding Professor of Diaspora University is in Nairobi looking for a Bank that can work with Diaspora Kenyans and Ndara B Community to achieve the Diaspora University Town. The banker/s who understands the Diaspora Kenyans resources and the Ndara B Community resources will be able to grow their bank deposits and achieve Ksh 50 billion loans as they tap the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC) finance.

Diaspora Kenyans Resources

Diaspora Kenyans have put in intellectual, cash and other assets into the DUT project. The Diaspora Kenyans resources include: the DUT development plan for creating 15,000 jobs, cash capital for townhouses development, Diaspora University courses, Technologies for medicine and vaccine MSMEs and, intellectual, cash and other resources investments in MSMEs setting up at DUT.

Ndara B Community Resources

Ndara B Community has so far put in 1,500 acres for the development of the Diaspora University Town (DUT). The community has also achieved the Ndara B Development Plan that is progressing to open 30 MSMEs that will make 4,000 acres of land productive and create about 5,000 jobs as they produce building materials, water and food products.

Ndara B Community of about 10,000 persons has a ready human resource for taking up jobs created by DUT plan and Ndara B Plan

Banks Resources

The loan totaling to about Ksh 50 billion is the bank resources.  The loans issued for property, equipment and other assets and given to individuals, Diaspora University Trust and MSMEs

As DUT and Ndara B plans are implemented the bank will achieve some of the money it shall loan out. As materials extracted from the land create building materials the new value created will be reflected in new deposits in the bank.

The 20,000 jobs will make over 100 million of human resources hours productive. As persons are paid and new savings created the bank deposits will grow.

DUT has 500 Diaspora Kenyans investing in DUT. This number will grow. As Diaspora Kenyans invest and remit money earned abroad the bank deposits will grow.

The bank working with Diaspora Kenyans and Ndara B Community is expected to tap KMRC finance as it takes up bulk loans for the DUT 3,500 townhouses and 3,200 apartments. The amount from KMRC, about Ksh 35 billion.
